Fact and Fiction will be hosting Stan Bain from 7pm-9pm Tuesday June 13th for a reading and signing of his second installment of his Contractor series.
About the book:
"CONTRACTOR: CONTRACTING REQUIRES DETAILS TO EXECUTE A MISSION is the second in a series of fiction books about a General Contractor in Montana. His team of assassins had recovered from the bad experience of losing some of their members in the first book. The team organization became stronger with advanced training in scuba diving and medical needs. This book continues with expanding assignments in Scotland, Ireland and South America, operating from their base in the Nevada desert they regroup and continue on. Additional characters are Angelique, a beautiful woman having exceptional computer knowledge and skills. She served in the Brazilian Army for 12 years as a hand-to-hand combat instructor. She was known to take out five guys with her bare hands during a battle, and she has other skills that complement the team. John, a spoiled brat that staged his own kidnapping and of other individuals. The future became questionable when the Contractor, Jim, learned his wife, Jane, became a victim resulting in him leaving the team."
About the author:
"Stan is a Vietnam veteran and a former General Contractor. He started writing non-fiction books about his life experiences, serving in Vietnam, returning to Vietnam searching for his demons, and his best job, Being Santa. His writing experience helped him with PTDS from the Vietnam War. He decided to write fiction, a series of novels about a Contractor with a team of assassins. He used his knowledge of computers, satellite images and is a licensed multi-engine pilot, skydiver, and scuba diver to write this series. The author is from Montana but now lives in Florida, and just retired from construction and handyman for a condo association. Now he is remodeling his new house and continues his writing."
