About the authors:
Shelby Jo Long is a 3x bestselling author and 3x international bestselling author, speaker, professor and business strategist that helps businesses grow their brand by developing custom programs and courses. The transformation of unique ideas & approaches that experts have developed in their lines of work into a program or course so they can scale their operations.
Shelby’s professional background includes 15 years as a Business Communication professor and Intercollegiate debate coach at a college in Montana. She has taught classes in the human communication discipline including business communication, public speaking, small group communication, argumentation & debate, persuasion and organizational communication. Shelby’s business coaching and consulting work, she has done business culture and communication training at state and private organizations. She has also been invited to speak at women’s conferences, chamber events and real estate conferences about leadership, organizational culture, and branding. Her communication and advocacy backdrop gives a unique perspective in how a business communicates their message to their audience.
Shelby and her husband Tony, and children Ava & Emmett, live in Billings, Montana. The family loves spending time outdoors and visiting their family in Missoula and central Idaho. Her book, I SEE YOUR GENIUS: TRANSFORM YOUR IDEA INTO INCOME, is about her story, her journey as an entrepreneur and the process of transforming your idea into an income stream.
Dr. Cara Cocchiarella is a Missoula native. She is a University of Montana alum, played Lady Griz basketball, and taught and coached at Sentinel, Loyola Sacred Heart, and University of Montana Western. Cara is currently a Coach Developer with Win Win Consulting and a Professor in Health and Physical Education. She has proven success coaching athletes from kindergarten through college in seven different sports, earning numerous trophies and Coach of the Year honors. Cara is dedicated to empowering sports leaders in pursuit of excellence and to ensuring access and quality programming for all athletes. Her continued service to the field of coach development is driven by her passion for inclusive, holistic, athlete-centered coaching and the potential for sports to enrich all of our lives.
